About The Author

My name is Andrew Hite (just in case you haven’t already made that inference).  I am a Ruby on Rails developer, graphic designer, technology enthusiast, and part-time superhero.

This is where I start writing in the third-person, because I really like the way pixels look when they’re forming my name.

Andrew Hite is a computer nerd with a penchant for the internets.  He has worked professionally in the IT industry since the age of 17, having done everything from help-desk to web development over the past few years.  Andrew is currently one-half of the El Paso, Texas based web-application development firm Impulse Development, and spends his days writing XHTML, coding CSS, and putting web-applications on Rails.

An avid fan of everything that comes out of Cupertino, Andrew can usually be found with his Macbook Pro slung over his shoulder and iPhone close at hand.  If you get him started on the merits of Apple products, you might have a hard time escaping.

Send Andrew a friend request on MySpace or Facebook, or follow him on Twitter @andyhite if you feel so inclined.  He doesn’t bite - unless, of course, the vampires have already found him.
